Late one night, Mulla Nasruddin was standing crouched over, near a street lamp, combing the ground. A friend came along and asked what he was doing. “I lost my ring over there, across the road and I’m trying to find it”, replied Mulla. “Why are you looking over here if you lost your ring over on that side?” asked the friend. “Well, it’s so dark there, how do you expect me to find anything at all? I thought I’d come over to this side where the light is much better!
